Abstract

The problem of "Freedom under Socialism" is one of the most controversial issues of social philosophy today. Clarification of this subject serves not only to satisfy theoretical interests but should, on the practical side, contribute in some degree toward mitigating the conflict of the "two worlds" whose mutual antagonism is sharpened as a result of a general misunderstanding of the essential nature of socialism.
